Dr. David Bower earned his PhD in music education from New York University, his MMus from Westminster Choir College and his BMus from SUNY Fredonia. His recent book is called Constructivism in Music Education Technology: Creating an Environment for Choral Composition in the Fourth and Fifth Grades. He has spoken at conferences of the College Music Society, the International Society for Music Education and the Hawaii International Conference on Education. His articles on music teaching have appeared in Tempo Magazine and Visions of Research in Music Education.
